Mga Kaibigan ni San Pedro Calungsod — Bongabon has been formally recognized and approved as an official Lay Association and Religious Ministry within the jurisdiction of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Bongabon, through the signed approval granted by parish priest, Rev. Fr. Isidro Puyat, Ph.L.
This signed approval is not merely a document — it is a beautiful affirmation of our mission, our devotion, and our humble service under the patronage of Saint Pedro Calungsod. With grateful hearts, we share this blessed news with all our brothers and sisters in the faith.
The Signed Approval
On August 15, 2026, Rev. Fr. Isidro Puyat formally signed and granted his official approval, recognizing our community as a Lay Association and Religious Ministry within the parish. His signature confirms that our group is now a recognized and authorized ministry of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish — a testament to the trust he has placed in our mission and the spiritual fruit of our community.
We offer our deepest gratitude to Fr. Isidro for his fatherly guidance, his confidence in our work, and his generous blessing. May the Lord reward his kindness and pastoral care a hundredfold!
Who We Are
MGA KAIBIGAN NI SAN PEDRO CALUNGSOD (MKnSPC) is a Lay Association and Religious Movement that aims to promote, propagate, and preserve the devotion to the Philippines’ Second Saint — San Pedro Calungsod — through Digital Media, Pilgrimages, Outreach, and Charity.
Our Vision
A future where devotion to San Pedro Calungsod inspires a united, faith-filled, and compassionate community, radiating his spirit of youthful faith, courage, and service — touching hearts and transforming lives.
Our Mission
Empowered by the spirit of San Pedro Calungsod, we aim to promote, propagate, and deepen devotion to the Second Filipino Saint, fostering spiritual growth, community building, and service to others. Through prayer, education, and outreach, we strive to inspire devotion, promote faith, and embody the values of San Pedro Calungsod in our communities.
Our Nine-Fold Goals
Through the inspiration of Saint Pedro Calungsod, we aspire to:
1. Promote Awareness — Educate the public about his life, teachings, and significance as the Second Filipino Saint.
2. Devotional Materials — Develop and distribute sacred images, prayers, novenas, and resources.
3. Community Building — Gather devotees to share faith experiences and inspire one another.
4. Youth Engagement — Encourage young people to learn and emulate his values.
5. Prayer & Reflection — Organize novenas, gatherings, and sessions to deepen devotion.
6. Outreach Programs — Serve marginalized communities with compassion and charity.
7. Partnerships — Collaborate with parishes, schools, and organizations to amplify our mission.
8. Digital Presence — Leverage social media and online platforms to spread his devotion.
9. Intercession & Feast — Seek his intercession and joyfully celebrate his feast day.
The Journey Ahead
With hearts full of gratitude, we move forward. A formal request for diocesan-level recognition has been submitted to the Diocese of Cabanatuan. We proceed not with pride, but with humble trust in God’s perfect timing and loving providence. Whatever the path ahead, we offer it all to the Lord — asking only that He may use our hands, our hearts, and our lives for His greater glory.
